Recommended for offshore vessels

IMO – ESP Code 2020
Recommended for all vessels The 2011 ESP Code provides requirements for an enhanced programme of inspections during surveys of single-hull and of double-hull bulk carriers and single-hull and double-hull oil tankers, in accordance with the provision of SOLAS regulation XI-1/2 and in line with the IACS UR Z10 series.

It provides, in particular, special requirements for:

– renewal, annual and intermediate surveys

– preparation for surveys

– documentation on board

– procedures for thickness measurements

– reporting and evaluation of surveys.

Admiralty – Annual Summary of Notice to Mariners Part 1
Essential for all vessels To supplement Weekly NMs, the UKHO produces an Annual Summary of Notices to Mariners (NP247). This publication contains the Annual Statutory Notices to Mariners Numbers 1-26, a summary of Temporary and Preliminary Notices to Mariners still in force at the start of the year, and a Cumulative Summary of Amendments to ADMIRALTY Sailing Directions.

The paper version of the Annual Summary of Notices to Mariners is published annually in January.
