GNS announces strategic seminar to help Cyprus shipping companies get more from digital navigation

GNS, the maritime solutions company, has announced it is holding a Get More from Digital seminar in Cyprus on 23 May. The seminar builds on the success of other GNS ‘Get More’ events held earlier this year in Greece and Singapore and is open to all shipping companies interested in discovering how they can achieve greater efficiencies and cost savings from digital navigation.

The seminar will share examples of the ways in which GNS’s unique data intelligence has enabled shipping companies worldwide to operate more efficiently, improve compliance and reduce costs.

GNS customers are seeing up to 15% reduction in costs and up to 44% improvement in compliance record thanks to GNS’s unique analytical approach to navigation management that uses detailed vessel tracking and other data to calculate exactly which products and services vessels require to operate safely and compliantly, and the latest technology to deliver those products just in time to vessels.

Companies attending the Get More seminar will have the opportunity to arrange to have a detailed analysis of their current navigation spending with the GNS team to identify potential cost, time and other savings.

Event bookings are on a first come first serve basis. To book your place visit:  https://www.regonline.co.uk/GNS_Limassol_2017

Here’s what other shipping companies have to say about GNS’s Get More from Digital workshops.

We shared our concerns over the new ECDIS standards and GNS were able to provide us with answers that simplified the process.  Looking at how much time we could save on updating paper charts opened our eyes to the benefits of a fully integrated digital solution.”

Capt. Ashok Sherpa – Navigation Safety & Audit Lead, AET Tankers

GNS reviewed our fleet thoroughly and were able to show us how to increase efficiencies particularly around back of bridge software.  We found the workshop to be very informative but most importantly, we built a partnership with GNS.”

Muneesh Saxena – Marine Superintendent, Goodwood Ship Management
