New Alerts service available in VFI

The new Alerts module has been created to notify Voyager Fleet Insight users about key changes when they occur. This is a free service for VFI Professional subscribers. It enables you to set a range of email alerts for your fleet:

  • Route Deviation: Identifies when a vessel deviates more than user’s defined distance from the planned route.
  • Course Change: Identifies when the heading of a vessel on voyage changes by more than user’s defined value over any 60 minutes period.
  • Loss of AIS Signal: Identifies when AIS tracking information has not been received from a vessel on voyage for more than user’s defined period.
  • Position Report: Provides a regular update on vessel position (12 or 24 hour) basis
  • Excess Speed: Identifies when a vessel has exceeded user’s defined speed for a 60-minute period
  • Port Arrival and Departure: Identifies when a vessel enters or exits any port
  • Zone Entry & Exit: Identifies when a vessel enters or exits a predefined area – initially this alert is for MARPOL zones only.
  • Destination & ETA Changes: Identifies when the Destination and/or ETA information in an AIS terminal, for vessel on voyage changes.

The Alerts module has been released as a beta version, this will allow us to engage with our customers and receive feedback.
