The Living Lab is a collaboration initiative that aims to drive and support the development of open, user-driven innovation.
In support of the IMOs emissions reduction goal, the lab's focus on port to port voyage optimisation will enable various stakeholder to co-create and bring value to the wider maritime community.
The living lab consists of a physical space where developers can come together with users, partners and other co-workers to brainstorm, define and develop solutions.
In addition to physical “test beds” in Singapore, we also have global "test beds" in our Aberdeen office, partner and customer offices as well as onboard vessels to prove concepts, prototype, test and facilitate trials of new solutions.
The lab is also joined by a global community of stakeholders who are driven to collaborate for the advancement of maritime innovation and solve voyage related issues.
Working with MPA, SSA and the Pier 71 Accelerator Programme in Singapore, the Voyager Living Lab is providing an incubator environment for maritime start-ups including access to grants to accelerate the development of innovative solutions.
The Voyager Living Lab will play an important role in the development of the talent needed to drive maritime innovation by providing internship opportunities, supporting post-graduate programmes and projects, and creating opportunities for collaboration on maritime-related academic and research initiatives.
The Voyager Living Lab is also a free-to-use 24/7 venue for innovation and maritime technology related meetings and events. Anyone involved in maritime innovation is welcome to book the space. Register for our online booking system by emailing us at livinglab@voyagerww.com.
