Update: Customer service following Athens earthquake

Update 2200 EET
Following the Athens earthquake earlier today, we are pleased to advise that we are catching up on the work backlog and our GNS customer service team will be back working in the office as normal from 2300 EET tonight.
In case of anything urgent please call us to enable us to prioritise your requirements.
We would like to thank all our customers for the messages of support and your understanding today while our team managed the office evacuation and associated disruption.
1400 EET
A reasonably strong earthquake hit Athens today.  The GNS building has been evacuated as an interim measure until we can check it is safe to re-enter.  We are expecting some aftershocks and so need to be sure there is no danger of falling masonry, fire, flood etc.

We are also allowing colleagues to check on the wellbeing of their families and if anyone needs to care for children or elderly relatives we will allow them to leave.

Both the Athens team and colleagues in our other offices around the world are working to ensure minimum disruption but would like to apologise to customers for any impact to service this may cause.
