Voyager PAYS works on a subscription basis and makes all AVCS immediately available, free of charge, for planning purposes. Vessels get a single AVCS permit that unlocks all PAYS ENCs worldwide on all ECDIS as well as on Voyager Planning Station. As vessels sail, the ECDIS automatically opens the correct scale ENC to navigate safely.
Voyager PAYS tracks the vessel and only charges for ENCs that a vessel sails through. So it's a very convenient and economical way to manage navigation particularly for vessels that have frequent changes to orders and routes.

PAYS tracking is included free of charge as part of Voyager Planning Station Essentials making it a very cost-effective way to switch to PAYS.
Voyager PAYS ENC usage calculations are accurate to keep ENC costs to a minimum. Online access to detailed vessel tracking data, ENCs being billed and total cost in Voyager Fleet Insight lets you check tracking accuracy and billing in real time.
Voyager PAYS uses a combination of the vessel’s GPS NMEA position and AIS data, or alternatively uses SAT-C and AIS data for tracking. So, it’s incredibly simple and cost effective to get started. That also means it works with every ECDIS
The Voyager PAYS system uses AVCS, the world’s leading ENC service for ECDIS, which offers the widest coverage of any ENC service as well as the extra reassurance of the Admiralty Information Overlay.
We will ask you to fill out a simple form to ensure a smooth onboarding process. We’ll send the vessel the necessary device (if required) that will connect the Voyager PC to your position feed and once we start to get the tracking data back, we will send the vessel the PAYS permit that unlocks the near world ENCs.
It’s included in VPS Essentials or VPS Professional (including all VNaaS, Fixed Price Bundle customers).
We offer two tracking options as follows:
1. GPS based tracking (recommended): This option accesses the vessel’s GPS data for vessel tracking.
2. Inmarsat SAT C tracking: This service is completely remote from the vessel and does not require any hardware on board to set up. Vessel tracking is enabled via SAT C that incurs an annual fee.

Voyager PAYS solution provides a nearly worldwide permit upon activate of this service and uses the vessels GPS data feed to track the vessels voyage and bill customers for only the ENC used.
